Gardner, PhD, PMP, CISS Director of Product Management will present innovative results of the company’s work utilizing portable standoff Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI) technology for detecting and identifying explosives, chemicals and narcotics at the 2014 Homeland Security Week meeting in Washington, DC.
Dr. Gardner’s talk entitled; “Portable Hyperspectral Imaging System for the Standoff Detection of Explosive and Narcotic Threats” will be presented in the Exhibit Hall Presentation Theater on Monday, October 6 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. During his discussion, he will introduce an innovative product – VeroVision™, the next generation portable standoff HSI sensor for the widefield standoff detection of explosives and drugs of abuse.
“This presentation describes the work CISS is undertaking building a commercial HSI sensor platform for the detection of explosives, hazardous chemicals and narcotics. VeroVision™ will leverage all of CISS’s experience in HSI to provide reliable detection of a wide variety of threats,” said Dr. Gardner.
